Bennett Orchards is located in Frankford, Delaware. The Bennett family has farmed this land for an impressive six generations in a row, beginning in 1867. Once focused on grain and poultry, today the farmstead primarily produces peaches and blueberries.
With five varieties of blueberries and 7,000 plants, Bennett Orchards is the largest pick-your-own blueberry farm in Delaware. Thousands of people come here to pick blueberries (and peaches) every summer!

Picking assistants will be there to help direct you to the ripest, most plentiful blueberries, and wagons are provided. Blueberries are priced per pound, with a four-pound minimum. The farm accepts payment in the form of credit card, cash, or check.
When to Go Berry Picking in Delaware
Blueberry picking season at Bennett Orchards typically begins in early to mid-June and lasts through mid to late July, lasting for about 4-6 weeks. You can learn about which different varieties of blueberries are available at which points in the picking season at the Bennett Orchards website.
And of course, blueberries aren't the only crop Bennett Orchards is known for producing. Bennett Orchards also grows 16 different varieties of yellow peaches, a variety of nectarines, and a variety of white peaches.
The pick-your-own peach season starts in early July and ends around late August. Wandering through the lush orchards and picking delicious peaches is such a lovely way to spend a summer's day.
