You May Not Like These Predictions About Connecticut’s Positively Frigid Upcoming Winter
The Farmers' Almanac predicts a colder and snowy winter for Connecticut in 2023-2024.
For many centuries, people have looked to the Old Farmer's Almanac for longterm weather forecasts. While the reports are never 100% accurate, they are some of the best estimates of weather and precipitation available. This year, the country is expected to see an overall drop in average temperatures, and Connecticut just happens to be one of the states affected by this. Here's more information about the upcoming winter season:
Connecticut residents are no strangers to harsh weather, as temperatures usually plummet below 30 degrees F.
According to this year's predictions from the Old Farmer's Almanac, temperatures in the Connecticut area are expected to be even lower.
The coldest periods will begin in mid-December and last all the way through mid-March.
Average snowfall shouldn't be affected too much, as estimates point to a near-average amount of precipitation for those months.
Snowfall for the season could begin as early as November, though.
Predictions also suggest that April and May will be slightly cooler than normal, after a long and frigid winter.
On the bright side, there's no denying that Connecticut is positively beautiful in the winter.
