The trail is a 2.5-mile loop that is on the harder side of moderate. It's got quite the array of terrains, from flat areas to rolling hills to steep peaks.

The views from the top are pretty incredible - there are a few rocky scrambles to get up here, so make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear!

A good stretch of the trail follows along a babbling brook that will provide scenic views and a lovely natural soundtrack to your hike.

If there's been any recent rain, you may even see a few small waterfalls!

You'll briefly intersect and travel along with a bit of the Appalachian Trail as it winds through the woods up towards Maine.

The trail is well-marked and great for when you're looking for a bit of a workout but don't want to be out all day. It takes most hikers around 2.5 hours to complete in its entirety.

The overall elevation gain is 770 feet, so it's a great workout.

Views like this make it more than worth the effort, don't you agree?
