What This Drone Footage Caught In Connecticut Will Drop Your Jaw

A drone is basically a flying camera if you ask me, although I've been told they can do a lot of things.  In this case, a user and his drone created a pretty amazing video of Hartford, Connecticut. Most nutmeggers have ventured to this city before, but you've never seen it like this! Having a drone in the equation changes everything when it comes to getting a great shot of the state capital. So here are a few reasons I loved this footage:

Drone footage makes you feel like you're seeing the edge of the world.

The wide angle (and very high up) shots give the illusion of actually seeing the shape of the Earth. It's a really cool effect that makes you think.

You realize how small and mapped out cities really are.

When you're in a city like Hartford you might spend a lot of time looking up. It's easy to get lost because the buildings obstruct your view, but in reality, cities make sense. Or at least they do from way up here.

You get to see things from a whole new perspective.
