When you’re looking to cool off and take a dip in a natural pool, Durango has an incredible little hidden gem that’s just the ticket for an outdoor adventure.

Just be sure to bring your sneakers, because you’ll be doing a bit of hiking to get there.

Adrenaline Falls is perhaps the best-kept secret in Colorado. This Colorado swimming hole is epic.

Located off of Lime Creek Road, it’s not always easy to find the trail to access the falls.

The trailhead is about 2.2 miles from the highway on the north entrance.

Once you reach the mile mark, start looking for the trail on the east side heading down the canyon. The coordinates to the actual falls are 37.7057, -107.7519.

The trail is a primitive one, but just stay on it for about three minutes, and your efforts will be rewarded.

At the end of the trail is Adrenaline Falls, a mesmerizing 15-foot waterfall.

You'll probably have the place to yourself, making the adventure all the more special.

The waterfall collects into a deep swimming hole that’s perfect for a quick dip.

You can climb up and jump from 15-40 feet into the water.

Be sure to use extreme caution if you’re going to jump in, and make sure you’ve canvassed the jump spot ahead of time to make sure you won’t land on any debris at the bottom.
