The Fairytale Park In Southern California With The Dreamiest Lakeside Setting

There's one thing we simply can't get enough of when it comes to Southern California and that's spending time in the many beautiful outdoor settings that surround us. Luckily for us, there are so many magical destinations to explore in SoCal that we have many places to wander. Here's one of our favorites that we've recently discovered and it's right out of a fairytale.

Welcome to TeWinkle Park. A delightful local gem in Southern California that feels like a fairytale from the moment you arrive.

Named after Charles TeWinkle, the first mayor of Costa Mesa in 1953, this picturesque park captures a little slice of local history.

You'll find a little bit of everything at TeWinkle Park. A man-made lake, barbecues, picnic tables, and plenty of areas designated for sports and recreation.

There are so many things to love about this park. In addition to the lakeside setting, you'll adore the abundance of trees that fill TeWinkle Park.

Explore the park and soak up the scenery along the wide walking paths. It's a relaxing place to wander.

This enchanting setting is the place to be on a hot SoCal day as you can escape from the sun under the shade of one of the many trees throughout the park.

The little ones will love it here just as much as the grown-ups when they spot this play structure. What a perfect place to enjoy with the kiddos on a sunny afternoon.

It's the kind of park that's full of surprises at every turn so make sure to take time to stroll and wander while you're here as you won't want to miss a thing. Especially this cute little waterfall.

It wouldn't be summer in SoCal without an outdoor picnic at the park. Good thing there's plenty of green grass around here.

Bring a blanket along and stretch out on the grass for a delightful al fresco picnic lunch.

Or grab a spot underneath one of the many trees at TeWinkle Park. Everywhere you turn, you'll find a little something that will enchant you.

One of our favorite times of day to visit is right before sunset as soft shades of pink and orange blanket the park. We love this serene place to end the day.
