The historic farm was originally built back in 1825 on the Buffalo Creek Reservation of the Seneca Nation, and its former barns and a sawmill are now used as stables for the farm's llamas.
Throughout the year, those traveling along Hemstreet Road might spot the llamas frolicking around the property.
Hemstreet Farm is open for visitors and tours year-round, but there’s one especially awesome activity offered here that truly stands out - llama hikes!
That's right, for just $10 dollars per person, you can take a scenic hike on the farm with the resident llamas.
The adventure lasts about 1.5 hours and offers a unique way to get out and explore like never before.
It’s the perfect family-friendly outing that allows for a hands-on experience with these gentle animals. Children ages 8 years and older are allowed to lead their own llamas, while younger visitors will need an adult to join them on the adventure.
