Alabama's Point Rock Trail is nestled inside Buck's Pocket State Park in Grove Oak. This hike, with some of the best views in Alabama, is a 2.3-mile, out-and-back trail with a moderate rating of difficulty. Keep in mind that even though most people can hike Point Rock Trail, it does have a lot of rocky terrain. Because of this, you'll always want to use caution and wear appropriate hiking shoes.

While hiking Point Rock Trail, in addition to encountering lots of rocky terrain, you'll also discover many types of wildflowers and other beautiful pieces of nature. Hence, another reason it's one of the best hikes in Alabama.

One of these beautiful pieces of nature is Little Sauty Creek Falls. The moment you see the sign leading you to it, you'll know that you're about to experience one of Alabama's most incredible hidden waterfalls. Little Sauty Creek Falls is a stunning 15-foot waterfall that's surrounded by mossy rock outcrops. It flows over multiple ledges and into a small pool of water below.

Upon arriving at this waterfall, you'll also be able to view it from a variety of angles to truly appreciate its beauty.
