Nectar Falls in Alabama is a hidden gem worth discovering for its scenic beauty and accessibility.
It's no secret that we have many wonderful places here in Alabama that are waiting to be discovered, including waterfalls. The Yellowhammer State is filled with numerous waterfalls, several of which are lesser known than others. One of these lesser-known waterfalls in Alabama is Nectar Falls. Nectar Falls is located just off Alabama Route 160 in Cleveland near the bridge below. Because it's situated right off the road, it's easily accessible. With that being said, it's also quite steep, so be sure to wear appropriate shoes and always use caution.
This hidden waterfall drops approximately 40 feet into a pool of water. Like most other waterfalls, the amount of water flowing from Nectar Falls depends on the amount of recent rainfall.
The pool of water at the bottom of Nectar Falls flows into a creek that'll eventually find its way to the Locust Fork onto the Warrior River.
Not too many people know about Nectar Falls, which makes it a true hidden gem that's certainly worth discovering.
While visiting this little-known waterfall, you'll come across a variety of things, including the ruins of concrete structures.
You'll also encounter a variety of wildlife, so be sure to watch your step as you make your way to the waterfall.
