1. Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, Bozeman
Bozeman Deaconess is the highest ranked hospital in the state. The 86 bed nonprofit facility has won numerous awards, including landing a spot on America’s 100 Best Facilities for Pulmonary Care list in both 2015 and 2016. Bozeman isn’t just home to the best hospital in Montana, though. It’s also touted as one of the best cities in America.
2. Billings Clinic Hospital, Billings
This hospital has a very high rate of patient satisfaction. Of the patients who were surveyed, over 80% said they’d recommend Billings Clinic to others. Billings shouldn’t be solely sought out for healthcare, though. It also makes for a great day trip destination in Montana.
3. Providence St. Patrick Hospital, Missoula
Just like Billings, Missoula boasts top-notch healthcare AND makes a fantastic day trip destination in Montana. This 237-bed hospital is the only level II trauma center in western Montana and southwest Montana. The second largest employer in the Missoula area, 1600 people work at Providence St. Patrick Hospital.
4. Benefis Hospitals, Inc., Great Falls
Great Falls is more than a charming river town in Montana. It's also home to one of the best hospitals in Montana - Benefis, which serves around 230,000 residents across a 15 county region. With 3,000 employees, 530 licensed beds, and partnerships with 250 physicians, they are the largest non-governmental employer in the Great Falls area. The hospital is known for providing a wide range of programs and services to help people live their best, healthiest lives.
5. Northern Montana Hospital, Havre
Northern Montana Hospital has 49 beds, a 24-hour emergency department, and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record services. 6. Barrett Memorial Hospital, Dillon
The results of a quarterly patient survey showed that Barrett Memorial Hospital was rated better than the national average for overall hospital experience.
