What is the best time of year to hike the Beehive Basin Trail?

This hike is best in the summertime. As you might imagine, it snows heavily in this part of Montana in the winter - and those snows can come early and stay late. If you're going to tackle this trail - especially for the first time - you should go in the summer. Everything will be green and beautiful and you won't have to worry about ice along the trail.

Fly fishing and whitewater rafting are also very popular in this area as well, and you're not far from Yellowstone National Park if you want to take a day trip to it!
