17 Incredible Waterfront Restaurants Everyone In Missouri Should Visit
There is nothing like a delicious meal at a great restaurant when that dinner comes with an amazing waterfront view. Lucky for us, we have many options between our river systems and beautiful lakes. Lake of the Ozarks alone has 1,150 miles of shoreline and plays host to a lot of great dining spots. Here are a few of our many waterfront choices.

1. White River Fish House, Lake Taneycomo, Branson
White River Fish House offers a beautiful view of the lake through floor to ceiling panoramic windows. This scenic restaurant is actually a floating barge serving up local favorites. Whether you arrive by car or boat, you will enjoy their great menu selections served in a pleasing atmosphere. The White River Fish House was recently named the “Best Restaurant in Branson” by 417 Magazine.

2. Shady Gators, Lake Ozark
Shady Gators is a busy multilevel seasonal lakeside bar and grill. They feature Cajun eats, DJs, live bands and a party atmosphere. With premier events scheduled throughout the season, many nationally and regionally recognized bands play regularly at Shady Gators. There is also the premier ultra-pool lounge with day beds, cabanas, a pool, sand volleyball, and a swim-up bar!
3. Shorty Pants Lounge, Lake of the Ozarks, Osage Beach
Shorty Pants has been voted the #1 Gas Dock for 6 years running, and is one of the Lake’s favorite Cajun restaurants. They feature authentic Creole cuisine with a menu that is straight out of New Orleans. Sit inside, outside by the fireplace, or on the huge waterfront deck. Visit the outside Tiki Bar, and enjoy live music and a great atmosphere.

4. Boathouse, Forest Park, St. Louis
The Boathouse is located in beautiful Forest Park with a menu that is designed to be family-friendly. They feature homemade soup, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, as well as kids' meals and delicious desserts. Try their signature fish & chips, or visit on Sundays and enjoy a relaxing brunch by the lake. The casual restaurant, bar, and boat rental facility is located on Post-Dispatch Lake, and is a one-of-a-kind experience.
5. Baxter’s Lakeside Grille, Lake Ozark
Located at 2124 Bagnell Dam Boulevard in Lake Ozark, Baxter’s features classic American upscale food with an amazing view of Lake of the Ozarks. Reservations are suggested, especially if you want to time your meal just right and get a sunset view.
6. The Chateau Grille at Chateau on the Lake, Branson
Located at the The Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa and Convention Center, 415 State Highway 265 in Branson, the Chateau Grille offers gourmet food with a spectacular view of Table Rock Lake.
7. The Rocks Lakeside Grill and Lounge, Kimberling City
The Rocks is a casual dining restaurant and bar you can even drive your boat up to and park in one of their slips. They feature a great view of Table Rock Lake, as well as live music events. They are located at 12051 State Highway 13 in Kimberling City.

9. Der Essen Platz, Camdenton
This German American restaurant located at 8 Bridal Cave road in Camdenton also features German, French, European and Craft Beers, as well as hummingbirds to watch (in season).
10. Paradise Restaurant and Bar, Sunrise Beach
Paradise has been a hotspot at the Lake of the Ozarks since 1988. Relax and take in the terrific panoramic view of the boats and the water while enjoying mouthwatering entrees. Popular menu items include the 12-ounce cold water lobster tail, the Ginger Glazed Salmon with mangoes and their aged Filet. They also feature live music and great drink specials. 11. Cielo, St. Louis
Cielo is an upscale classic Italian restaurant, located on the 8th floor of the Four Seasons. Get one of the choice terrace seats for what may be the best view in the city.
12. Dog Days Bar and Grill, Osage Beach
Dog Days Bar and Grill is a seasonal lakefront bar and grill that has been a staple at Lake of the Ozarks since 1993. They feature a spacious deck, specialty drinks, pub-style food, live music and special events. They are located at 1232 Jeffries Road.
13. HK’s Restaurant, Lake Ozark
HK’s Restaurant & Bar is located off the main lobby in The Lodge of Four Seasons at 315 Four Seasons Drive in Lake Ozark. It features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the beautiful Japanese Gardens and the Lake of the Ozarks.
14. Windrose on the Water, Osage Beach
Windrose on the Water is a casual, yet upscale steak and seafood restaurant. Enjoy the intimate lakeside atmosphere while dining on menu items from an award winning culinary staff. They are located at Tan-Tar-A Resort at 494 Tan Tar A Drive. Marina docking is available, and reservations are strongly suggested.
15. Big A’s on the Riverfront, St. Charles
Big A’s has been serving classic American fare at 308 Main Street in St. Charles for over 20 years. Located in a historic building, the restaurant features daily specials, a great selection of craft beers, and may just have the best view of the Missouri River in town.
16. Osage Restaurant, Top of the Rock, Hollister
Osage Restaurant is one of Top of the Rock in Branson’s amazing restaurants. They serve American cuisine in a beautiful dining room featuring rugged wood beams and iron chandeliers. They are located at 150 Top of the Rock Road.

17. The Fish and Company, Camdenton
The Fish and Company is a casual American bar and restaurant located on Lake of the Ozarks at 268 Wego Fish Lane. They are reachable by land or water with their own dock, outdoor seating and seasonal live music. They have been a favorite on the lake since 1997.
