But today we want to cover a restaurant that, while it looks normal on the outside, is hiding an expensive secret. This basement restaurant in Minnesota has 16,000 dollar bills hanging from the ceiling. Why? Read on to find out!
The Nook is a longstanding bar and restaurant in St. Paul, Minnesota. Address: 492 Hamline Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116
This no-frills spot is first and foremost known as a great place to grab a drink. The bar is just about always busy, but you'll never have to wait long.
But what about downstairs? One area of the Nook's downstairs space is a full bowling alley! It's also called Ran-Ham Bowling Center. It's a great spot to bowl a few games before or after dinner.
The bills decorate just about every surface on the walls and ceiling of this basement restaurant. Guests have been known to pin them up with toothpicks!
This is definitely something you have to see for yourself - and maybe even add to! Visit the Nook Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
