Wild Rumpus is tucked away in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis. You'll find it at 2720 West 43rd Street.

The first thing you'll notice about Wild Rumpus is its fun door, with its inset purple door just for little ones to walk through.
Inside, you'll find a bright and cozy space loaded with books.

Perhaps the most exciting features of Wild Rumpus are the critters who roam the aisles. Among the most unusual are the two silkie chickens.

They often lounge in the sunny windows, but you might get lucky enough to catch one awake.
Other unusual creatures make homes in the store, too. These are usually kept in their own cages.
