Where are some good flower farms in Michigan?
Michigan has no shortage of beautiful flower farms. From vast purple lavender fields to giant yellow sunflowers reach for the warm summer sun. Here are a few of our favorite places to find U-pick flower farms in Michigan:

  • Manchester Blooms U-Pick Flower Farm, Manchester, MI: This flower farm near Ann Arbor is an incredibly pretty spot to gather fresh flowers for your table or special occasion. If wildflowers are the look you are going for, visit the farm around late May. More traditional flowers reach peak bloom around mid-July. Manchester Blooms has around five acres of flower fields to wander and pick from.
  • Gull Meadow Farms, Kalamazoo, MI: This Southwest Michigan gem is another one of our favorite flower farms. Imagine a field of bright red, orange, and pink zinnias growing among big bold sunflowers - it is quite the picture-perfect landscape. You can visit the farm in July for the Richland Art Fair, for Sunflower Days in August, more fall festivities with a corn maze and pumpkin picking, or visit in winter for a stunning Christmas light show. Gull Meadow Farms has year-round events and festivities to keep you coming back year after year.
  • Old Mission Flowers, Traverse City, MI: Old Mission Flowers opens in May to celebrate spring flowers of all kinds. As the season changes into summer and then into fall, the selection of flowers changes as well. From tulips and daffodils in the spring to bright yellow sunflowers in late summer. Or, you can pick a lovely bouquet of white daisies for that special someone in the summer.
