This flower farm in Maryland offers a variety of beautiful blooms throughout the warm season, and you can pick them yourself! From tulips, to lavender, to dahlias, and even pick-your-own sunflowers, this special spot is a must-visit for flower lovers.

Once upon a time, this Carroll County location was used for commercial planting of soy and corn. It's since been transformed into a dazzling array of flora and fauna.

This family-owned farm offers U-pick flowers throughout Maryland's warmer months. The first flowers in bloom for the year are tulips, which are a delightful welcome to springtime. They usually bloom early to mid-April.

More varieties of flowers bloom as the months progress, and yes, you can pick those, too.

You just may spot ranunculus, peonies, Mexican sage, dahlias, and...

...lavender! You can usually expect to find this serene-smelling plant in bloom from late June to mid-July.
