Have you ever been to Patapsco Valley State Park? Although we love this spot year-round, autumn is a particularly beautiful time to visit. All of the areas of the park are lovely, but just wait until you see the swinging bridge! Walk across this structure as you marvel at the surrounding fall foliage and water views down below. Patapsco Valley State Park spans 32 miles, covering parts of Carroll, Howard, and Baltimore counties. Today we're focusing on the Orange Grove area, which is near Elkridge.
There's a lot to love about this spot, from the leaf-covered paths, both paved and rocky...
...to the beautifully rustic views of the flowing Patapsco River. You can enjoy the river from up close...
...or from up above! Cross the swinging bridge to enjoy the colorful sights all around. Although this structure doesn't swing quite as much as it used to, there's still some movement with each step. Be careful!
