Enjoy The Best Dam Hike In Maryland Near Liberty Reservoir

Maryland is full of man-made marvels, from impressive bridges to enchanting castles. Even some of the local dams are worth seeing in person, including the following spot.

Check out this hike that’s full of natural beauty and man-made beauty as well. It just may be the best dam hike in Maryland

Liberty Reservoir is located in Central Maryland. While this spot is great for taking in the water views while kayaking or canoeing, there's also one hike in particular here that's worth checking out.

The trail is known as Liberty Dam Hike, and it's located just off of the reservoir.

This out and back trail is 1.6 miles in length (0.8 miles each way), making it great for people hiking with kids.

Along the way you'll see water views...

...and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife.

Soon you'll reach the dam, which is gorgeous from any angle.
