One Of Maine’s Coolest Aqua Parks, Funtown Splashtown Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again

Funtown Splashtown in Saco, Maine, offers a combination of water and amusement rides, making it a perfect summer destination.

When summertime arrives you'll find Mainers outside soaking up the few months of warm weather we get all year. That means every day is a new opportunity for fun and you better believe we don't take that for granted! On an especially hot day, there's nothing like a visit to the water and this park in southern Maine is one of the best. With a combination of both water and regular amusement rides, it's easy to spend an entire day here!

Located in Saco, just off of Route 1 you'll find the most fun water park in New England! Funtown Splashtown offers both refreshing water rides and a fun amusement park.

The park has been around in some capacity since the 1960s, but became Funtown Splashtown as we know it today in the 1990s.

We love both aspects of the park, but most days we can't help but spend all our time at the water park.

There are ten different water attractions here, including multiple water slides.

Each one offers a completely different experience depending on age and adventure level.

For visitors who prefer to stay closer to sea level, there are a variety of rides like bumper boats that offer plenty of fun.

There are also plenty of tame and shallow pools for cooling off and enjoying friends and family.

We love just how big this place is the fact that you can choose to lounge in a sun chair all day if that's how you prefer to enjoy a water park.

Of course, there's also an entire dry land amusement park to enjoy so make sure you don't lounge for too long.

There's plenty of food here too, so be sure to come hungry!

This is a great place to spend a summer day in Maine. A day is fun, but they also offer season passes. Either way, this is the place for fun in the sun!
