7 Outdoor Restaurants In Louisiana You’ll Want To Visit Before Summer’s End
Even though summers in Louisiana can be a little on the uncomfortably hot side, there are still plenty of days where it’s not too hot to enjoy a meal outdoors with a beautiful view. These seven restaurants all have two things in common: the food is incredible and the views just can’t be beat. Let’s check it out.

The Blind Tiger has multiple locations in Louisiana, but their Slidell location is ideal for anyone looking to dine outdoors. The laid-back restaurant is right on the waterfront, offering beautiful views and a menu full of tasty seafood, burgers, and sandwiches to keep your belly full.

The views don’t get much better than Loggerhead’s. Nestled against the beautiful Calcasieu River, guests will have a front-row seat to this stunning waterway while feasting on delicious burgers and Louisiana staples. Stick around until sunset, the views are incredible.

You’ll love dining in the cozy outdoor patio at Luna Bar & Grill in Lake Charles. Established in 2004, this funky little eatery covers everything from Louisiana favorites to hearty burgers, so you know there’ll be something on the menu you’ll enjoy.

For some of the best seafood, pop on over to Pat’s. This casual restaurant is one of those timeless treasures where you’ll feel like family from the moment you walk in.

Featuring over 30 craft beers, quality wines, and a menu full of delicious food, you can’t go wrong with a visit to The Porch and Patio Restaurant in Kenner. You’ll be surrounded by beautiful crepe myrtles and banana plant groves while snacking on yummy pub grub like nachos, loaded fries, and beastly burgers.

If you find yourself hungry on the North Shore, Rip’s on the Lakefront is the way to go. Think iconic Louisiana dishes with an upscale spin - that’s what you’ll find on the menu at Rips. The views of Lake Pontchartrain are absolutely incredible and after your meal, be sure to take a stroll down the lakefront and maybe catch one of those beautiful sunsets over the water.

This rustic Lakeview restaurant has been a neighborhood favorite since it opened in 1977. Not only do they have one of the best oyster bars in central Louisiana, but the views of Lake Kincaid will mesmerize you.
