Covington is one of those charming towns that you often wonder why you don’t visit enough. A vibrant town with a historic downtown, Covington’s railroad history played an important part in the town’s success early on, and even though the trains don’t pass through anymore, you can still experience this little bit of history at LOLA, one of the most charming restaurants near New Orleans.
