Popp Fountain in New Orleans is a historic and scenic spot known for its beauty and past association with witchcraft.

In the 1970s, Popp's Fountain was known as a gathering place for witches.

Mary Oneida was the founder of a witch coven, that used to meet at this fountain often.

Mary founded the first witch coven to be recognized by the State of Louisiana as a church. Her network is still in existence today, known as the Religious Order of Witchcraft, although it is headquartered in Connecticut.

Magical ceremonies were said to have been performed here, including ceremonies to extend people's lives.

So, some people started thinking that this was in some ways, a fountain of youth.
