If you’ve spent any time in the Baton Rouge area, you’ve probably spent time time at The Chimes. Their original location in the shadows of LSU has been a pitstop for many hungry tigers for more than 25 years.

In 2011, they expanded to St. Tammany Parish and opened up another location right in the heart of Covington, and they’ve been a hit ever since.

The menu is full of casual American fare like cheese fries, burgers, pastas, and more. Get a plate of their popular cheese fries for the table, you won’t regret it.

Of course, they also have several Cajun and Creole items as well. Expect to find alligator, BBQ shrimp, and some massive po’boys too.
