Frostop, The Old Fashioned Drive-In Restaurant In Louisiana Hasn’t Changed In Decades
Frostop Drive-In in LaPlace offers nostalgic dining with classic burgers, root beer, and a variety of other dishes.
Nothing beats a good old fashioned burger with all your favorite condiments piled sky-high on top. Pair that with some perfectly fried french fries and an ice-cold root beer, and you've got the signature dish at Frostop Drive-In, an old fashioned eatery along Airline Highway that hasn't changed much since they opened over 60 years ago.
If you’ve ever driven down Airline Highway in LaPlace, you’ve probably passed this iconic root beer sign.
Frostop has been a LaPlace staple for 62 years, it’s one of the oldest restaurants in the area.
It’s certainly a nostalgic experience for many who grew up eating here.
Even though the place has undergone some renovations throughout the years, it still holds on to that old-school drive-in charm.
Of course, a trip to Frostop isn’t complete without getting one of the famous burgers.
They have several to choose from, ranging from the classic Lot-O-Burger to the BBQ and chili burgers.
They also have fried seafood platters.
And pasta dishes.
