This old fashioned store started when one family was immersed in the community at the farmer’s market with their heirloom vegetables. Wanting to connect deeper to their community, they decided to open Troutt Old Time General Store & Market to give everyone a taste of the past.
While you’ll still find their heirloom vegetables at the store when they’re in season, Troutt is jam-packed with old-fashioned items of all kinds for you to find.
This charming store has always been family-owned and operated, and you’ll feel the warmth as soon as you walk in. Many of the items have been donated from non-profits, and many are handmade.
Seasonal items can be found around the holidays, but you’ll enjoy a taste of nostalgia no matter when you visit. Whether it be old fashioned bottled sodas, old-time candy, or unique glassware and signs, everything is a blast from the past.
