The Baker’s Table is the definition of a one-of-a-kind space. Filled of beautiful light, natural materials, timeless style, and amazing music, this restaurant offers traditional American cuisine with unpretentious service. With spirit selection comprised of effortless cocktails, earthy wines, and a top-shelf bourbon list that nourishes the soul, this restaurant makes you feel that you belong.

2. KungFood Chu's AmerAsia

As the name suggests, KungFood Chu's Amerasia is an American take on Asian cuisine, and they do an incredible job. My personal favorite are their “How Fun Beef and Noodles”, but they have a wide selection of Taiwanese dishes and a selection of craft beers to match. From the kung fu postersin that cover the place to the uber friendly wait staff, this kitschy spot is one of the best in the game.
3. Libby's Southern Comfort

Now it’s time for some Southern homecooking. Libby's Southern Comfort has spent the last decade crafting a mouthwatering selection of southern cuisine including special-recipe fried chicken, half-shell oysters, and fried green tomatoes. It’s the perfect place for a family night on the town or to pull up a barstool for a pour of bourbon or a Cheerwine Bourbon Slush!

4. La Mexicana Restaurante Cantina & Tienda

With very reasonable prices and fresh-from-the-garden vegetables, La Mexicana is everything you want in a hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint. From their assorted tequila selection to the burritos the size of your head, Ls Mexicana might be the best bang for your buck in The Bluegrass.

5. Cork N’ Crust

No list would be complete without some pizza representation, and Cork N’ Crust is truly one of the most underrated spots in Kentucky. They come to bat with some of the best woodfired pizza recipes around. My favorite is their “Spiral Margarita”, a pie with red sauce, house made basil-infused mozzarella, and garlic infused olive oil. On top of that, they offer a unique selection of wines from all over the world available by the glass or bottle, including 16 wines on tap.
