We have some great all-in-one places in Kansas, and one of our favorites is Ward's Garden Center. This place sells up tons of plants, has a pet shop, an ice cream shop, and right in the middle of the garden center, a cute little cafe. If you want to enjoy a great home-cooked meal and then stop by a wonderful shop right after, this is the place for you!

Ward's Garden Center has been an integral member of the Garden City community since 1976. As you'd expect from a lawn and garden center, this is a great place to pick up various garden supplies and outdoor decor.

Ward's has a wide array of seeds if you're looking to start a garden from scratch or grow some vegetables or herbs.

Or maybe you'd like to plant some saplings to spruce up your yard?

There is also a big selection of plants for both the yard and indoor decoration.

However, just behind all the lawn and garden supplies, there's a hidden secret inside this garden center: a wonderful cafe!

Ward's Garden Cafe is the perfect place to stop for lunch.

Sandwiches, wraps, and burgers are all available daily. There's also a kids' menu (ice cream included!) for the little ones.

Weekend specials include chicken-fried steak and taco bowls.
