The Sunflower State has somewhat of a reputation as being a bit uncultured. Maybe it's the fact we're landlocked, or maybe it's that we're less populated than many other states. You wouldn't expect us to have a great Himalayan restaurant in Kansas, but we do! The Post Rock Motel in Kansas recently opened a small restaurant on-site, and it serves up amazing Himalayan food. Lincoln is in the central region of Kansas, an area known for agriculture and hunting. Here, you'll find the Post Rock Motel, a great option for weary travelers looking for overnight rest.

It's also right in the middle of post rock country, the region of Kansas where it's not uncommon to see limestone posts marking property boundaries. The prairie's lack of trees meant that wood was in short supply, and the region became known for its "post rocks."

The Post Rock Motel recently opened up an on-site restaurant. This place is small, but it's got a great cuisine that's somewhat unique for this area.

The choices here are certainly more exotic than at most hotel restaurants.

With daily specials and delicious dishes like chicken curry, pork momo, and other exotic offerings, there's plenty to pick from.

If your taste buds aren't quite up to international cuisine, there are several good old-fashioned cheeseburgers available as well.

The hotel restaurant is open for much of the day and even has breakfast in the morning.
