Take A Boardwalk Trail Through The Baker Wetlands In Kansas
There are a surprising number of wonderful trails in Kansas. Many of them span through our gorgeous Great Plains, with some meandering through the rolling beauty of the Loess Hills. One amazing terrain that is often underappreciated is the magnificent wetlands of Kansas. It doesn’t get much prettier than the Baker Wetlands, a 927-acre preserve that offers fantastic landscapes and an array of unique plant and animal life that you don’t see in much of the state. It also happens to be the home of a boardwalk trail that’s a true delight – it’s the perfect way to check out all the region’s beauty while getting a workout simultaneously!
Have you ever been out to the Baker Wetlands Discovery Center or explored the trails in the area? You can learn more on the center’s Facebook.
