Few People Know About This Kansas Trail With 22 Miles To Explore

In a state with so much untouched rural beauty, it’s no surprise how many great trails we have in Kansas. We may not have the dramatic mountains of nearby places like Colorado, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t incredible Sunflower State vistas to enjoy. There’s a huge variety of hikes in Kansas, ranging from quick jaunts suitable for the whole family to longer trails for more experienced trekkers. Today, we’re featuring a lengthy trail near Olathe, Kansas that’s an all-day journey for hikers looking for a real challenge. The Indian Creek Trail obviously doesn’t have to be completed all in its entirety, but if you’re looking for a long hike without much elevation gain, this is a great option!

The Indian Creek Trail spans an impressive 22.5 miles and actually extends into Missouri.
