9 Lazy Rivers In Kansas That Are Perfect For Tubing On A Summer’s Day
When it gets so hot in Kansas that you don’t want to move, then a water park is exactly the medicine you need to keep cool! At this point, the most you can do is lay back and do nothing for a while as you try to beat the heat. A big favorite when you need to relax, these lazy rivers are always cool and always there for us. Is everyone ready to take a dip?

This amazing family destination is great for a weekend out of the house, or just a day trip to their facilities. You can sit back and enjoy the river as the kids have fun at the water playground nearby.

At only $4 a person, this spot is ideal for a hot summer day where you can't think of anything else besides the pool. No doubt, this is going to be a cool spot during our hot summer!

Hays is a great place to beat the heat and work on your tan the fun way, in a lazy river! This one's a lot of fun, and not as noisy as some of the more popular parks. Of course, you can't forget the sunscreen!

Wichita's South YMCA is great for if you'd like to enjoy a relaxing hot tub before your cooling dip in your tube.

McPherson's water park is awesome for all ages, and not too busy on most days. You can work on your tan, and get that relaxing ride around the pool like you've always dreamed. All things considered, it's a great place to relax while you wait for the day to cool off.

Rock River Rapids is my all-around favorite place to go when I want to spend all day on a never-ending lazy river trip. You can bet it's truly relaxing, among the sounds of children playing and water splashing.

Kenwood Cove does it right when it comes to lazy rivers, and some days you'll be bumping into everyone as you travel slowly around the trail. There's not much that's more fun than a water park!

Famous for its slides and just how large the park is, this spot is great for when you'd like to take a break from slides and boogie boarding. It's a popular park for a reason!

Like I've mentioned before, this spot is stellar for swimming and beating that summer heat. Long Branch Lagoon has a boomerang slide, and even more importantly, a long, long lazy river to enjoy at your leisure.
