These 11 Restaurants Serve The Best Wings In Kansas
Alright, Kansas; we’ve covered the best burgers, pizza, and BBQ in the state—and now it’s time to talk about the most important food of them all: chicken wings. If you have a hankering for some good old, deep fried, finger-licking chicken wings, you have to check out these 11 Kansas restaurants (listed in no particular order):
1. Wing Lovers USA (Leadwood)
The name says it all; if you LOVE great chicken wings, this Leawood establishment is the place for you.
2. Moose's Backwoods BBQ (Baldwin City)
You know them for their delicious BBQ, but did you know that Moose's also serves oh-so-good Buffalo, Teriyaki, BBQ, Garlic Parm, and Sweet & Sour wings?!
3. Wings & Things (Wichita)
Just one taste and you'll see why their wings and other things (onion rings, sandwiches, etc.) are considered to be the best in Wichita.
4. Cloud 9 Chicken Haven (Salina)
A unique (albeit delicious) take on the chicken wing: the big, fat part of a chicken breast cut out, floured, deep fried, and then rolled in a signature wing sauce! Just one taste of these "Lips" and you too will be on Cloud 9.
5. Glory Days Pizza (Topeka)
"Glory days well they'll pass you by;
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye;
Glory days, glory days!" I don't know about you, but I intend to spend my Glory Days eating a plate of saucy goodness.
6. Twisters Bar & Grill (Colby)
Best hot wings in Western Kansas. Period.
7. Bigg's BBQ (Lawrence)
Mmm, buffalo drummies... I know what I'm eating after the next KU game!
8. The Peanut on Santa Fe (Overland Park)
When the Peanut says they're making wings, they are making actual chicken wings--not the little stubs the chains serve.
9. DG Wingz (Emporia)
I can see (and taste) why DG's is a favorite for both ESU students and visitors alike.
10. Central Station Bar & Grill (Dodge City)
Don't get the heck out of Dodge until you've had a beer and an order of Sweet 'n Tangy Wings from Central Station Bar & Grill!
11. Jefferson’s Restaurant (Lawrence)
Jefferson's on Mass Street: Come for the juicy burgers; stay for the world famous wings.
