Overlook Adventure Park is a scenic little attraction in the Central Illinois city of Decatur that has been around since 2014. It offers several wonderful attractions that will please each member of your family.
The Sky Trail Ropes Course features three different courses for different age groups, including one for tots, one for those between the ages of 4 and 12, and one for those age 13 and up, making it enjoyable for all. The course takes participants 25 feet above ground, across a tight rope, down a zip line, and over shaky bridges.
Prices are $7 for the Tots Course with nine obstacles, $10 for the age 4-12 years course, and $11 for the all ages ropes course with 33 obstacles to overcome. Slightly cheaper rates are available for half-hour play.

The main attraction at Overlook Adventure Park is mini golf, which has an exotic animal theme here. Prices range from $6 to $7 depending on if you're a senior, child, or regular adult. Children under age 3 are always admitted for free.
Locals also like to stop by for the Batting Cages. You can choose from various speeds for different skill levels and choose to either pay by pitches or by the minute. An hour of play will cost you $32 while 375 pitches is $23.
If you get hungry, there's the Nelson Park Snack Shack located on Lake Decatur to satisfy any rumbling. It sells candy, chips, hot dogs, nachos, and bottled water.
Current hours are limited to select times between Thursday and Friday, but late spring and summer hours are available daily in the afternoons and evenings after April 29, 2018.
