Indian Creek Plaza can be found in beautiful downtown Caldwell. Coming to this outdoor ice skating in Idaho is a treasured winter tradition for many, and just may be the most beautiful ice skating destination in the Gem State!
Each year it is open from about mid-November until the end of February. The hours are generally Monday through Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., however, the hours are subject to change based on rink capacity and/or weather conditions.
The name of the entity has to do with its construction, which is in the form of a ribbon-like pathway that winds around the plaza and eventually culminates into an ice skating rink.
Old or young, inexperienced, or pro - the rink is open to anybody and everybody, and it's an absolute blast!
Every year, it takes about three weeks for the staff to recreate the rink. As far as places to ice skating in Idaho, it is unique in that it is the state’s only ice skating ribbon and ice rink, and when built, was the nation’s seventh. There is so much Idaho pride about this place!

Since it's outdoors, it's suggested that all skaters bundle up appropriately in heavy coats, hats, and other cold-weather gear.
Winter in Idaho can get downright chilly, but nearby fire pits are available for you to huddle around and keep warm. Surrounded by the brightly lit plaza, the rink is just the picture-perfect place to spend the evening with loved ones.
You can bring your own skates or rent them from the facility. Helmet rentals are free!
A wide array of prices are offered for general admission, kids ages 5 and under, seniors, and military personnel, and visitors can choose one-time, seasonal, and 10-pack skate options. Coming here is one of the most popular places to visit in the winter in the state of Idaho.
