CD's boasts the best barbecue in the greater Palouse area. Smoked over local wood, you can order these savory meats on a sandwich or even by the pound! They are located at 311 E. Veatch St. Moscow, ID 83843.
2. Smokehouse Barbecue & Saloon, Wallace
Smokehouse is in historic Wallace, Idaho and serves up some of the tastiest Memphis and Cajun style flavored meats in the state. 3. Drummin Up BBQ, Coeur d'Alene
Drummin Up BBQ doesn't even have an actual building to reside in, but that doesn't stop it from serving up some of the most mouthwatering barbecue dishes in Idaho. Grandpa's has been serving up deliciously authentic southern style food since 1995, in a variety of locations. 5. The Hickory, Rexburg
The Hickory opened it's doors only five years ago, but since then has gained quite the following in Rexburg, Idaho for it's tasty barbecue sandwiches and burgers. 6. Lunchbox Deli and BBQ, Lewiston
The Lunchbox boasts itself as Lewiston's favorite Texas Style BBQ restaurant and you'll realize they're right after you visit (also, it's one of the few restaurants on Yelp with an entire 5 star rating!). Considering the restaurant itself is painted a bright red with fake flames engulfing the sides, you wouldn't expect some of the tastiest BBQ dishes to be hiding inside....but they are. 7. Spero's House Of BBQ, Malad City
Spero's is a charming little BBQ pit that most folks seem to accidentally stumble upon, but end up leaving pleasantly surprised. The menu is basic, but the simplicity of it is what makes it so good. 8. Famous Willie's Barbecue, Post Falls
The owners of Famous Willie's moved from East Texas to Idaho back in 2001 and opened their authentically southern BBQ shack in 2009. This family run restaurant is like a little slice of Texas right here in Idaho. Just be sure not to leave without finishing off with some delicious homemade pie!
