The Garage Cafe is named after the fact that it's located inside what was once an actual service station. It may not be in-service anymore, but the cafe pays tribute to the building's history by hosting an annual car show!
On top of its fun history, the Garage Cafe is also known for its humongous portions and delicious homestyle food. Offering a varied selection of classic diner food, you'll find everything from breakfast dishes to hearty sandwiches on the menu.
However, it's really the burgers that are the star of the show! They boast several varieties for burger lovers to choose from, including the Six Pack Burger (beef patty, ham, bacon, egg, and American cheese) and the Roadster Burger (beef patty, chili, cheddar cheese, and onions.)
At a half-pound each, the regular burgers are filling as is. But why not take it a step further and try your hand at the cafe's Hemi Challenge? Consisting of 2-pounds of beef on an 8-inch bun plus lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and cheese, this burger is definitely one of the largest you'll ever consume!
