The Slow-Roasted Kalua Pork Served At Kono’s In Hawaii Will Is Absolutely Mouthwatering

As the most isolated population center on earth — located more than 2,000 miles from the closest continent — the Hawaiian Islands are unique. Everything from our culture to the food we eat is a bit different than the mainland. One of our favorite local foods is kalua pork, and Kono’s serves some of the best.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here:

Kono’s Haleiwa location is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while their Kapahulu location is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the Kailua location is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
