Sometimes the best things in life are worth a little extra effort. This restaurant in Wyoming not only serves good food but also offers spectacular views because of its remote location. Buffalo Valley Cafe is off the beaten path and will make you feel like you are a million miles away from everything.
Buffalo Valley Cafe is a quaint historic cowboy cafe located at 16945 Buffalo Valley Road in Moran. Back in 1908, the area was once a homestead that belonged to Henrietta and Charlie "Beavertooth" Neil. This area consisted of a trading post, working ranch, camp and restaurant.
In the 1930s, a new home and store were built which is now the current home of the Buffalo Valley Cafe.
Today, it's a very casual, family friendly cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The view from the outdoor patio is one of the best around.
The cafe overlooks the Buffalo Fork River with the majestic Tetons as a breathtaking backdrop. The cafe is 3 miles from Grand Teton National Park, 27 miles from Yellowstone National Park and 34 miles from Jackson.
The cafe serves breakfast until 11:00 a.m. Some of their breakfast items include eggs, omelets, burritos, french toast, pancakes and biscuits and gravy.
Some of their lunch items include burgers, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, fish & chips, reubens and club sandwiches.
