Up-Down Milwaukee Is A Bar Arcade In Wisconsin And It’s An Adult Playground Come To Life

Much better than a typical arcade, Up-Down Milwaukee is filled with vintage games from decades past. Plus, it’s got a fully stocked bar. Oh, and did we mention it’s for adults only? Yeah, it’s basically an adult playground come to life. Take a look:

One of Milwaukee’s newer additions, Up-Down Milwaukee opened in August 2018.

Boasting two floors filled with dozens of games, this place will make even the most mature of adults feel like a kid again.

In addition to more than 60 arcade games, the amazing game selection includes pinball machines, skee-ball, and Nintendo 64 console gaming.

But it’s not just the quantity of games that’ll have you running around like an excited adolescent. The arcade games themselves are sure to rustle up some feelings of nostalgia since most are from the 80s and 90s.

Like arcade games of the past, the games at Up-Down cost just 25 cents - and sometimes less since Up-Down features daily specials. For a real deal, visit on Thursdays, when tokens are just 10 cents!

The fun isn’t limited to the indoors, though. Up-Down has a 2-story outdoor patio, complete with its own an array of games.

Nearly as impressive as the variety of games is the alcohol offering. With a fully stocked bar, more than 60 beers on tap, and a variety of bottled and canned beer, you won’t go thirsty.

Beverages aren’t the only thing on the menu, though. There’s also house-made pizza, which is sold by the slice.

Of all the things there is to love about Up-Down, the best is probably that it’s for adults only. That’s right; you must be 21 or older to enter.

Kids can keep Chuck E. Cheese! Up-Down is where an adult can be a kid....while still enjoying one of adulthood’s best perks, drinking.
