When it comes to UFO hot spots, Nevada’s got Area 51 and New Mexico’s got Roswell. But Wisconsin? We've got Campbellsport. That’s right; the small town is known as the "UFO capital of the world." And fittingly, it's where the state's only alien-themed bar, Benson's Hide-A-Way, is located. Take a look at this quirky UFO-themed tavern in Wisconsin:
Aptly named, Benson's Hide-A-Way is pretty remote and takes some effort to get to.
You'll find it on Long Lake, which is in Kettle Moraine State Forest in Campbellsport.
From the outside, it looks like your typical dive bar. However, once you step inside and see that it’s chock full of UFO and alien-related items, you’ll quickly realize it’s anything but.
It’s not just a themed bar, though.
Benson’s is the state’s official UFO headquarters, meaning the owner is responsible for documenting encounters, which he’s more than happy to share with visitors.
