This Charming Restaurant In The Heart Of Wine Country Is A Washington Dream
With over 100 wineries and 2,800 acres of grapes in the area, the Walla Walla Valley has become a nationally recognized wine region. And not only is the wine excellent, but the dining scene is too.
You'll find Whitehouse-Crawford at 55 West Cherry Street next to Seven Hills Winery, and both the food and ambiance are amazing.
Whitehouse-Crawford is housed in the old Enterprise Planing Mill and Furniture Company building, which dates back to 1880.
The original building burned down in 1903, but it was immediately rebuilt with brick.
This building is listed on both the Washington Heritage Register and the National Register of Historic Places.
While the interior has been updated over time, it still maintains a historic charm.
The food here is prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients that are as local as possible.
These Walla Walla onions are about as local as it gets.
The menu at Whitehouse-Crawford changes frequently, but it always includes a selection of regional cheese and some hearty entrees.
The desserts are delectable.
Save room for something sweet.

Whitehouse-Crawford Restaurant serves dinner from 5-9 PM every night except Tuesdays.
Reservations aren't required, but they're recommended, especially for weekends.
