2. The "Mt. Saint Helens" at Ice Cream Renaissance: 1925 Main St, Vancouver, WA 98660
This dessert inspired by our favorite Northwest volcano consists of massive boulders (walnuts) that lie at the base of a honey vanilla ice cream peak. It'd dusted with volcanic ash (cocoa) and erupts with a molten lava (raspberry sauce). You're not going to find a more delicious volcano anywhere else - the flavor is truly explosive. This place is one of the best ice cream parlors in Washington state.
3. Bread Pudding at The Gingerbread Factory: 829 Front St, Leavenworth, WA 98826
Leavenworth is one of the most magical towns in Washington, thanks in no small part to The Gingerbread Factory. Where else can you get gingerbread in July? In addition to all the gingerbread men and house options at this bakery, you've got to try the cinnamon roll bread pudding. It's made with delectable pieces of cinnamon roll baked in vanilla pudding. You can get it topped with your choice of hazelnut or O'maras icing. It's every bit as delicious as it sounds.
4. Cookies and Creme Fudge at Northwest Fudge and Confections: 108 W 1st St, Port Angeles, WA 98362
This old-fashioned candy store in Port Angeles makes a number of inventive flavors. You can find creative chocolates like Tiger Butter and Pumpkin Pie. However, can you really go wrong with cookies and cream homemade fudge? We think not!
5. S'mores Cupcakes at FROST: 15217 Main St #106, Mill Creek, WA 98012
Admittedly, it was tough to pick just one unique item from the menu at FROST. The menu here is full of innovative sweets. However, this adorably-decorated cupcake is simply too delicious to pass up. Not up for a s'mores cupcake? You might enjoy one of the maple bacon bars, Butterfinger donuts, or sweet macarons. This gourmet dessert shop in Washington has treats that are as tasty as they are beautiful.
6. Truffle-Dipped Rum Balls at Dylan's Cottage Bakery and Delicatessen: 118 Pacific Ave S, Long Beach, WA 98631
This place is dangerous - you can go for "real" food and leave with delectable chocolate-coated rum balls! Dylan's Cottage Bakery and Delicatessen serves up great baked goods and amazing sandwiches. The rum balls melt in your mouth. Looking for something a little more traditional, but just as delicious? Check out the gigantic donuts and cookies.
7. Creamy Lemon Wedges at Pure Bliss Desserts: 1424 Cornwall Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225
Not a fan of chocolate? No worries, there's plenty for you here! The creamy texture and fresh lemon zest in these creamy lemon wedges can make anyone's day a little brighter. The caramel turtle wedges are only available seasonally, but they're a real delight as well. Everything at Pure Bliss Desserts is homemade from scratch.
8. Cinnamon Roll Cupcakes at Boots Bakery and Lounge: 24 W Main Ave, Spokane, WA 99201
Boots Bakery is unique in that it's one of the few vegan and gluten-free bakeries in Washington state. All of the baked goods here are delicious, even if you're not on a specialized diet. If you're looking for a cupcake that's a little more off-the-wall than your typical chocolate or vanilla, you can get unique options here. The cinnamon roll cupcakes are hard not to love.
9. Red Velvet Cheesecake at Frost Me Sweet Bistro and Bakery: 710 The Pkwy, Richland, WA 99352
When regular cake just isn't cutting it anymore, a sweet slice of red velvet cheesecake drizzled in chocolate is just what you need in your life. This bakery and bistro in the Tri-Cities area is absolutely delectable. You'll find a variety of custom-made cupcakes here, with over 250 creative flavors, including French toast and banana cream pie.
