7 Washington Restaurants That Are So Much More Than Amazing Places To Eat

At Santé, you can sit down and enjoy a nice charcuterie platter (or a full meal) or choose your own top quality meats and cheeses to create your own at home. The meat sold here is local whenever possible and free of hormones and antibiotics. Sometimes they even host special Chef's Counter dinners, which are $120 per person and well worth the investment.

3. The Herbfarm, 14590 NE 145th St., Woodinville

The Herbfarm happens to be the only 5-Diamond Restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. They focus on local cuisine -- very local, in fact. The dinner menu is typically 9 courses and changes every 2-3 weeks.

4. Cow Creek Mercantile & Cafe, 1611 S Smittys Blvd., Ritzville

Stop at this roadside Ritzville gem and you can enjoy shopping for local gifts AND eat a hearty meal at the onsite cafe.

5. Provisions Restaurant & Market, 2710 Terrace Heights Drive, Yakima

This brand new addition to Yakima (they opened December 1) is a chef-driven restaurant serving all sorta of creative dishes. The onsite market, which will have a beer growler filling station and a host of gourmet grab-and-go items, will open in February.

6. Red Door Cafe & More, 202 West 3rd Ave., Moses Lake

This family-owned business got its start 7 years ago as Red Door Consignment. 3 years later they opened the adjacent cafe, and now it's a beloved local shopping and dining destination.

7. Old Schoolhouse Brewery, 155 Riverside Ave., Winthrop

They might claim to be "all about the beer" here, but in reality, this place is about the beer, the tasty food, the live music, the events, and the swag.
