This Washington Restaurant Was Just Named One Of The Best In America
If you live anywhere near Seattle, you may have heard about Ravenna's new neighborhood restaurant, JuneBaby. Since its May 2017 opening, it has made appearances in every food publication in the city and earned rave reviews. And recently, it was named one of the 12 Best New Restaurants in America by Eater.
JuneBaby is owned and operated by chef Edouardo Jordan, who was already known around the city for the successful launch of his other restaurant, Salare.
JuneBaby was practically destined for success. As soon as locals heard that Edouardo was opening up a new place, they were ready to love it.
JuneBaby opened last May at 2122 NE 65th Street.
Needless to say, nearly every Seattle foodie rushed to try it to see if it would live up to its hype.
To say the food here is good would be a huge understatement.
Eater called it "the future of Southern cooking in America." Edouardo reaches back to his Florida and Georgia roots when planning the menu, which rotates regularly and includes all kinds of Southern delicacies.
Start your lunch or dinner with some buttermilk biscuits.
You'll be hooked instantly.
JuneBaby is open from Tuesday - Sunday from 5-10 PM. They also serve lunch from 11-3 on weekends.
Guests can also enjoy a special "Moonshine Hour" on Saturdays and Sundays from 3-5, which has a limited food menu and beverage specials.
Congratulations to JuneBaby for making such an impressive list! Here are some other amazing Seattle restaurants to try the next time you're in the city.
