Get A Taste Of Maine Right Here In Washington At This Lobster Themed Restaurant
High Tide Lobster Bar in Spokane offers affordable and delicious New England style lobster rolls and seafood.
Dining on lobster in the Pacific Northwest often involves a lot of time or an enormous restaurant bill. But if you live in Eastern Washington, a brand new way to enjoy this delicacy has just opened up, and you won't have to take out a home equity loan to enjoy it. High Tide Lobster Bar is already making waves in Spokane.
High Tide Lobster Bar is located at 502 W Riverside, Suite 204, and it can be tricky to find.
Enter the US Bank building at Riverside and Stevens, then take the escalator to the second floor. Take a left, then another, cross the skywalk, and you'll find it.
The laid back eatery was opened by local celebrity chef f Chad White (of Top Chef fame) and managed by Josh Neumeier.
On their opening day, they sold more than 250 lobster rolls in just a few hours.
The lobster is all shipped from the East Coast, and it's delicious.
The restaurant is already so popular, they've run out of lobster a few times and have had to overnight it.
High Tide serves traditional New England style lobster rolls, which include Maine lobster, tarragon mayo, lemon, toasted bread, and butter.
You can also go for a short rib roll or a surf and turf, which has both lobster and short ribs. There's even a mushroom roll for vegetarians.
The clam chowder here is also outstanding, a perfect blend of clams, tarragon, black pepper, potato, bacon, and cream.
It pairs perfectly with the lobster wedge salad.
Best of all, these lobster rolls and seafood staples won't break the bank.
Surf & turf rolls are just $14, and traditional lobster rolls are $16. And the tasty chowder is just $6 for a cup.
If you'll be in Spokane anytime soon, give High Tide a try.
They're open Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. or until they run out of lobster.
As exciting as it is to have a new Maine lobster spot in the state, Washington also has some of the best local seafood on the planet.
