This Greenhouse Restaurant In Washington Is The Most Enchanting Place To Eat
You've probably heard of the concept of "farm-to-table" dining, a movement that encourages serving local food at restaurants. And if you've ever been to the beautiful Nourish restaurant in Sequim, you know that this is a place that takes farm-to-table to a whole new level. In fact, most of the food is grown onsite.
Nourish is a gathering place for those in the Sequim community as well as visitors to town.
The restaurant, greenhouse and gardens are located on the property of the old Bell House Farm, which was built by Englishman John Bell in 1880.
When you fine here, you're also enjoying a piece of local history.
At Nourish, it's all about "garden to plate."
The majority of the produce served here comes straight from the gardens, and if it doesn't, it's definitely local (and organic).
Nourish stays open all year, and the indoor seating is delightful...
... but in the summertime, there's no better place to be than the patio.
Throughout the year, Nourish provides music from local artists to enhance the dining experience.
Of course, the food speaks for itself, and no "enhancement" is necessary.
The food at Nourish is some of the best you'll find on the Olympic Peninsula.
There's still time to visit Nourish this year, but if you can't make it, add it to your list for next year.
Sit in the greenhouse and dine with fresh herbs growing all around you.
Nourish is a beautiful place, and the food is delicious. This spot definitely belongs on your Washington restaurant bucket list.
