This Remote Utah Sandwich Shop Is Located In The Most Unlikely Place Ever

Utah has plenty of sandwich shops, but when you're in some of the more remote parts of the state, it can be harder to find restaurants with beautiful dining rooms and incredible sandwiches. The next time you're in Orderville, you definitely need to stop by Forscher German Bakery & Restaurant. Where's Orderville? Read on to find out!

You'll find Forscher German Bakery & Restaurant in Orderville, a remote little town located along U.S 89 north of Mt. Carmel Junction.

You'll notice a few odd things about this place right from the get-go. First, it's located right off the road. Really - it's literally feet from the highway.

The second thing you'll notice is that this restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. It has the kind of architecture and design that you'd expect to see in a place like Deer Valley - not in a tiny town with fewer than 600 residents.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by the interior, with its soaring ceilings, skylights and beautiful knotty pine.

The back patio is a nice, shady spot to enjoy your lunch or snack.

The sandwiches here are really tasty. Choose from menu items like the liverwurst apple spread, tomato basil or smoked ham with gouda (shown here).

The bratwurst sandwich will change your life. Seriously, you haven't had a bratwurst this tasty since last year's Oktoberfest at Snowbird. and even then, this one might be better.

Check out what's fresh in the bakery case. You can't go wrong with a chocolate croissant.

You'll find lots of German specialty pastries here, including Bienenstitch, a creme cake made with yeast dough and topped with a crunchy almond topping...

Hazelnut chocolate crodoots (a cross between a donut and a croissant)...

...and the fruchtloop apfel, a tasty butter-yeast pastry with an apple filling.

The next time you find yourself out along U.S. 89 in Southern Utah, plan a visit to Forscher German Bakery & Cafe. The address is 110 E. State St., Orderville, UT 84758, but you can't miss it - it's right on the side of the road!

It's open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m..

For some incredible donuts, you need to travel to Lehi to visit this hole in the wall bakery.
