What makes your favorite restaurant get better with age? Memories! And that is certainly the case at Zesto in West Columbia. With each passing year, generations of families carry on the tradition of heading to Zesto for their famous chicken and burgers, or with the hopes of scoring a chocolate-dipped cone nearly as big in their eyes as is the giant cone out front.

If you're like most, you have a coveted playbook of your Zesto visits: years and years worth of selfies, family shots, and just plain fun recorded forever in not only memories, but also in photos. Whether digital, or tucked neatly into Grandma's giant photo album, photos of happy times in the past make those same places reach both iconic and nostalgic heights as we move into the future.

Who else besides me has fond childhood memories of the family piling into the car to head to Zesto for dinner?! Generations of families and little league ball teams have been heading to this famous Columbia restaurant for decades. It's easy to see why!

Zesto opened in West Columbia in 1949. And while not much has changed with the food (it's always been exceptional), other hardscape changes have been made.

The most obvious? A bigger space with more room for us! (Thank you, Zesto!)
