The Squeeze-In in Sunbury has been helping hot dog fans satisfy their cravings for more than 65 years. It just so happens to be known for two things: Its tasty hot dogs and...
Its tiny size. With just five stools at the counter, diners literally have to squeeze into the tiny hot dog joint for one of their famous hot dogs.
However, due to the pandemic, The Squeeze-In is currently only serving their dogs via a takeout window. (If you've never eaten in the tiny hot dog joint, plan to do so when indoor dining returns.)
The popular hot dog joint serves six types of dogs, which pretty much guarantees a return visit to try each of them. If you prefer the classics, order the hot dog topped with ketchup, mustard, onions, and relish.
You can't go wrong by ordering the signature Squeeze Dog either. It's topped with all of the same toppings as the classic hot dog plus chili, sauerkraut, and baked beans.
Chili dogs, kraut dogs, and baked bean dogs are also on the menu. If you're in the mood for a really meaty meal, go for the Cubano Dog, which features ham.
Can you think of anything better to go with your hot dog than a bag of chips or cheese curls or a cup of baked beans?
The Squeeze-In serves an assortment of drinks. For dessert go right next door for a scoop or two of ice cream.
