The Landlocked Seafood Restaurant In Oklahoma That’s Unexpectedly Awesome
Bodean Seafood Restaurant in Tulsa offers exceptional seafood dining with fresh ingredients flown in daily.
Believe it or not, Oklahoma has several seafood restaurants that are unexpectedly awesome. You'd never guess as a landlocked state we rival some of the best seafood in coastal states. One that should be on your food radar is Bodean Seafood Restaurant in Tulsa. They are a local, family-owned restaurant that offers fine dining with seafood options flown in from around the world.
Bodean Seafood Restaurant enjoyed the same location for 40 years but moved to a new place in 2007. You'll find them at 3376 E 51st St. in Tulsa.
Expect to be impressed with the interior of this place. The unique decor features a large fish tank and art from local talent.
The dining room is cozy and intimate with white tablecloths and enough room for every table to feel private.
They first opened their doors in 1968 as a fish market and were the first to use daily air shipments from all over the world.
You can still shop at the market and buy raw fish and seafood or you can visit the upscale restaurant for deliciously prepared seafood.
For a tasty appetizer, try a yummy bowl of steamed Mussels & a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc.
A word about their fish as stated on their menu: "We fly our fish into Tulsa twice a day to ensure that only the freshest product is used in the preparation of our dishes. Bodean supports sustainable farming and practices with all of our partners. Daily updated selection of fish scoured from our own on-premise market."
Your dinner at Bodean's will be one of the best seafood experiences you've ever had in Oklahoma, so be prepared for superb food, excellent service, and great cocktails.
Have you ever eaten at Bodean's? If so, what do you recommend? Visit their Facebook page or website for more information.
